I purchased a license but wasn't redirected
After you purchase a license you will be redirected to a download webpage. You will also receive two emails. One from PayPal with your receipt, and one from YourSpreadsheets with a weblink to proceed with your purchase. If this doesn't happen then first check your Spam folder and if still no luck then email me directly at [email protected]
How do i activate a spreadsheet
Activation is only required in case of the Single-User licensed spreadsheets. The Company licensed spreadsheets do not require activation.
Before you can start using a Single-User licensed spreadsheet you will have to activate it. All steps will be explained on the webpage you are redirected to after purchase, as well as in the spreadsheet. You will also receive an email with all instructions. The Single-User licensed spreadsheets are incompatible with Mac as Apple doesn't support ActiveX components which are advanced macros used in the spreadsheet activation process.
Most of the Company licensed spreadsheets are compatible with Mac (the spreadsheets don't have to be activated and so don't use Apple unsupported ActiveX components). Check the system requirement section for each spreadsheet to make sure it was developed for Mac. Can i run these spreadsheet on libre office OR OPEN OFFICE
Libre Office and Open Office aren't supported. However, it most of the company licensed spreadsheets will work fine. If you would like to take the risk then start with checking whether the Free Lite Version works, if it does work fine then so should a company license.
Note that the Single-User licensed spreadsheets will not work on Libre Office and Open Office as the macros used in the activation process are not supported. how do i use these spreadsheets
The spreadsheets are design to be self-explanatory, with some additional help for more complex terms - these have a question mark sign '?' that will bring up an explanation.
All cells with content written in bold blue text are editable. Can i transfer a license to a different computer
If you purchased a Single-User license then this allows you to activate the spreadsheet on one computer only. Therefore make sure that during activation process you run it on the computer you want to use the spreadsheet on.
It isn't possible to deactivate a license on one computer to transfer it to another computer. These are only Excel spreadsheets after all. These don't connect to internet to check licensing status. In principle, Single-User license entitles you to a one-off activation. To avoid being locked to one computer only you may want to consider purchasing a Company license instead. This allows you to use the spreadsheet on unlimited number of computers as it doesn't require activation. You will have to provide a company address and this information will be locked into the spreadsheet header (the spreadsheet header can be arranged as you like, with your logo, name etc). A Single-User license is locked to one computer and allows you to use the spreadsheet on that computer only (it effectively entitles you to a one-off activation only). A Company license allows you to use a spreadsheet on an unlimited number of computers and doesn't require activation which makes the whole process a lot simpler and faster. PURCHASE RECEIPT AND VAT
After purchase you will be emailed a receipt from PayPal who is the secure payment gateway provider. Use it as a confirmation of your expenses.
Please note that at present YourSpreadsheets is exempt from VAT therefore the prices do not include VAT and there is no VAT invoice. Also please note that YourSpreadsheets is registered in Poland and any cross-border sales are treated as B2C (Business to Customer). If you make a cross-border purchase and you want it treated as B2B (Business to Business) then reverse charge mechanism applies- which means you have to pay VAT in your country for your purchase, irrespective of whether you are VAT exempt or have a VAT number (or equivalent). |
